Welcome to Natives Rest Candles
Thank you for visiting and learning what our company is about
Here at Natives Rest Candles, we take great pride in offering environmentally conscious, locally handmade, all natural soy candles. We have a line of carefully crafted 100% pure essential oil candles, catering to those who prefer the benefits of aromatherapy. We also created a line of scents infused with an artistic blend of aromatic smells to cater to those who prefer a more fragrant candle.
Our company was born in the heart of the Hickory Nut Gorge, tucked away, in the Western North Carolina mountains. We have created a line of candles that are native to this beautiful area. These hills hold a history so deep and spiritual we chose to name our company after this land. This is considered sacred ground by the Cherokee and Catawba Native Americans, a magical and special place on this Earth. Although these two tribes were common enemies, they held peace among each other when traveling this gorge. It is because of this truth we chose to call our company, Natives Rest.
We are like minded individuals who are concerned with the preservation of this land and our Earth. We aspire to transcend this way of thinking to all that pass through this gorge in hopes a piece of this tranquil destination will forever remain in your heart. Even if you don't come to this area, just know that our candles are part of this journey and we pass this peace along to you with your purchase. You are supporting a local company who will continue to do our part in being stewards for our planet and in all walks of our everyday lives.
We appreciate you and welcome you into our journey in this wonderful adventure called life! Be awakened and let our candles be the light to brighten your mind, body and spirit.
